Careers at Endurance
This work is a craft. We hire people who treat it like one.
An Endurance instructor is a black belt first, but the belt is the starting line, not the qualification. We hire for the things a test cannot measure: patience with a six-year-old who will not stand still, the instinct to notice the quiet kid, and pride in the kind of service families remember. If you are a parent checking who teaches on our floor, this is the bar we hold.
A black belt earns you the interview. Character earns you the floor. How we hire
What we stand for
These are not posters on a wall. They are how we decide who works here, and how we expect every family to be treated.
-
01
Black belt, no exceptions
Every instructor on our floor has earned their black belt. Rank tells us you have put in the years. It does not tell us you can teach, so we train you for that part too.
-
02
The student in front of you comes first
Our job is the child on the mat, not the headcount in the room. Instructors who chase numbers do not last here. The ones who change a student's week do.
-
03
Service families remember
Parents trust us with what matters most to them. We answer the phone, and we do what we said we would do. That standard holds whether you teach, run the front desk, or drive the after school van.

Student Transportation Driver
Details
In person · Route assigned at hire
You collect students from their school at dismissal and bring them to the dojang for our After School Academy. Parents collect their students from the dojang later in the afternoon, so the run ends where it started.
Two hours a day, and the two hours matter. You are the first adult a student sees after the school bell, and often the one who sets the tone for their afternoon. Reliability is the whole job.
What we ask for
- A Class 4 unrestricted BC driver licence
- A clean ICBC driving abstract
- A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, required in British Columbia for work with minors
- No phone in your hand while the van is moving. Not once.
- Patience with children, and the temperament to stay calm in traffic with a full van
Hours
- Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- School session days only
- Two hours paid every run, even when the route finishes early
- Not scheduled on Pro-D days or during winter, spring, and summer breaks
- Ongoing part time, aligned to the school year
What you get
- Paid on every school session day, statutory holidays included
- 4% vacation pay on every paycheque
- A year end bonus
- A route you own, and the same students every day
Teaching outside Canada?
Some of our best instructors trained somewhere else first. We hire great people from everywhere. If you hold a Kukkiwon Dan, you've led real classes for a few years, and kids actually learn from you, we want to see you teach.
Same role, same pay and same standards as the instructor posting above.

Show us a class
Send a link to a class you taught. Ten minutes is plenty. We care more about how the kids respond than how high you kick.
A video call
If it looks like a fit, we'll book a video call.
Your English doesn't have to be perfect. Your teaching does.
About working in Canada. You'll need legal permission to work here before you start. Some applicants already have it. Some may qualify for International Experience Canada (check your eligibility on the Government of Canada site). Tell us where you stand and we'll be straight with you about what's realistic. Applying doesn't guarantee a job offer or a work permit.
We never charge a fee. Not to apply, not to interview, not to be hired. If anyone asks you to pay for a job with Endurance Taekwondo, it isn't us.
What happens after you apply
No silence, and no guessing where you stand.
You send the form
If you have a resume, email it to [email protected] with your name in the subject line. Instructors: a short clip of you teaching helps more than a resume does.
A person reads it
Every application gets read. Not screened by software, and not left sitting.
A phone call first
If there is a fit, we start with a phone call. Then you come and see the floor.
Nothing here that fits?
We would rather meet a good person early than miss them. Front desk and admin roles come up through the year, and strong applications stay on file.
Send a short note: your rank if you train, your experience with children, and why this work appeals to you. Add a resume if you have one.
Apply
One form for every role. Tell us which one you are after and we will take it from there. We read every application.
